Currently, our "Screening to Assessment" window is usually under 14 days. Because we use a pre-payment screening process, we only accept patients we can help, avoiding the "hidden waitlists" common elsewhere.
What happens in the "Initial Screening"?
Before you pay for a full assessment, you complete a clinically validated digital screening. If we don't believe our service is the right fit, we will tell you upfront to save you time and money.
What is my Case Manager's role?
Psyara assigns you a dedicated Case Manager. They function as your single point of contact, helping you gather reports, do an initial intake session before meeting the Psychiatrist, and schedule your clinician meetings, ensuring you feel supported between appointments.

The full ADHD assessment typically takes between 90 to 120 minutes in total, which may be split across multiple appointments. This includes detailed clinical discussion of your developmental history, current symptoms, and how they impact your daily life, plus standardised questionnaires and screening for related conditions.

Will my GP accept a diagnosis from Psyara?
We follow the NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) guidelines, the gold standard for UK healthcare.
Our reports are comprehensive and designed specifically to meet the requirements for a Shared Care Agreement. While every GP practice has the final say, we provide the robust clinical evidence they need to feel confident taking over your prescriptions.
How much does the process cost?
Our fee for a Full Comprehensive Assessment is £950.
This is an all-inclusive fee that covers the entirety of the diagnostic process, including:
• Clinical Consultation: An in-depth evaluation with a specialist clinician.
• Diagnostic Report: A formal, detailed written report outlining the findings, clinical observations, and diagnosis (where indicated).
• Post-Assessment Recommendations: Guidance on next steps and suggested treatment pathways.
There are no hidden costs for the generation of your formal report, as this is included within the initial assessment fee.
Do you offer "Right to Choose"?
Currently, Psyara is a fully private service.
What if there is a medication shortage in the UK?
The UK is currently experiencing intermittent supply issues with certain ADHD medications that we are not in control of. We make every effort to ensure you receive your medication promptly.
